FAQs

1. What is AAU basketball, and how does it differ from school basketball?

Answer: AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball is a competitive travel basketball program that allows players to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and gain exposure to college recruiters. Unlike school basketball, AAU teams play year-round and participate in tournaments across different locations, providing more opportunities for competitive play and player development.

2. How do I join the team?

Answer: Players must attend tryouts to be considered for our AAU club team. Please send us an email to info@lvlupelitebasketball.com or message us on Instagram @lvlupelite for tryout dates and locations. Athletes should bring proper basketball attire, a water bottle, and a strong work ethic. Selected players will receive an invitation to join the team.

3. What are the costs associated with playing for the club?

Answer: Our AAU program has a registration fee that covers uniforms, tournament entry fees, coaching, and facility rentals. Additional costs may include travel expenses and optional team gear.

4. How often are practices and games?

Answer: Our teams practices 2 times per week, focusing on skill development, team strategies, and conditioning. We play 2 Tournaments a month. Tournaments are always on weekends with schedules varying based on the season and competition level.

5. Are there opportunities for individual skill development?

Answer: Yes! In addition to team practices, we offer private & small group training, skills clinics, and strength and conditioning sessions to help players improve their game. Our coaching staff focuses on player development to enhance overall performance.

6. Do players receive recruiting exposure?
